Mangal Kitsu is a  cinematographer from India

Growing up in a rural village, Kuthuparamba in north Kerala , his first stint in Photography came as an unpaid intern with a local Daily

Moving onto Mumbai he found job as an Illustrator with a movie magazine

He then went on to learn Cinematography at Film and Television Institute of India, Pune

After graduating from film school in 1997, he has been working as a cinematographer for feature films, commercials Television promos and Documentaries on various formats

Manasarovar, was the first film shot by Mangal. This movie was an official entry to London film festival 2004 ,and the opening film at International film festival of India 2004

He was the cinematographer for the National Award winning feature film Lessons in Forgetting2013.Movie review here

Shooting on self made Pin-Hole cameras is a passion he continues to pursue
